Avoid coming to your scheduled first appointment a half hour early, as a new patient, and fill out our required in-take forms form the convience of your home! Your confidential patient forms are 128-bit encryption while in transit, and the data in forms are also encrypted on the server.
Below you will also find additional information on situations that may arrive throughout your treatment.
Payment is expected on day of service, even if you have insurance. For dental procedures there is most always a co-pay, and patients should be prepared to make that payment. For long procedures like dentures, crowns, and implants we do offer to split the payments into 2 or 3 depending on the procedure. You can call our office at (802) 476-8700 to schedule or to cancel an appointment with the dentist or orthodontist. You can also request an appointment by clicking this button and filling out the form and our appointments coordinator will call you.
"Housecalls" reminder calls:
We strive to help our patients maintain good health in many ways. One way is through the use of a reminder call service called “Housecalls”. Housecalls will call the patient’s home phone number three (3) business days prior to an appointment. There is the opportunity for the person receiving the call to push numbers to repeat the message or to leave one for us.
It also provides to us a report after all the evening calls are made. From the report we can see if a patient left a message for us, so that we may retrieve and respond to it; or if the phone was 1) answered by a live person (it also records if the person listened to the entire message OR hung-up part way through); 2) was left on an answering machine; 3) was listened to a second time; 4) the phone was not answered at all; or 5) the phone was out-of-order. This report is especially helpful for us in making sure that we keep our phone number list up-to-date.
Additionally, the service will send an email reminder four (4) days prior to the appointment if the patient provides us with an email (please note we love this option!). And if the patient is particularly technological, they can sign up for a reminder to be text messaged to them two (2) hours prior to the appointment! As you can tell, we try to be helpful for our patients; however, ultimately it is still the patient’s responsibility to come to the appointment or call us in a timely manner so that we may re-schedule the appointment should they be unable to attend.
We make every effort to schedule as many of your childrens’ appointments after school as we can. Unfortunaly sometimes, we have to schedule a longer appointment during school hours, we understand that school is very important and we will do our best to accommodate you and your children.
If you are sick we do ask that you please call us to reschedule your appointment. We work very hard to stay healthy and we do not want to pass a cold or the flu on to our other patients.
We also offer e-mail and text reminders. Ask us for details. This service is only a friendly reminder it is important that you keep track of all your appointments.
Most of us who live in Vermont know that sometimes Mother Nature hits us hard. If you feel the weather is really bad, we would rather you reschedule your appointment and stay safe then travel. There may be some instances that we may close the office due to inclement weather. If the weather is bad please call our office before you come in to make sure we are open, we will make every attempt to contact everyone in the schedule if we close.
